Dr Marcela Martin

Dr Marcela Martin is a fertility specialist, providing conception advice, gynaecology, obstetrics, and IVF to patients.

Dr Martin grew up in Wollongong NSW. She obtained her medical degree at Sydney University and trained in various hospitals in NSW including St George, Sutherland and the Royal Hospital for Women. She underwent further studies in reproductive medicine whilst completing her training years. As well as being a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, she has also obtained an Honours degree in Genetics from the University of NSW.

In the event fertility is an issue, Dr Martin will guide you through the options that may be available to you. This doesn't always mean IVF but she is part of the IVFAustralia group and performs IVF procedures for her own patients. She works with a comprehensive team of scientists, embryologists and nurses that can help you achieve the pregnancy you so desire.

As part of her RANZCOG qualifications she is equipped to keep up to date with the latest 'evidence-based' medical research that shapes modern obstetric, gynaecological and infertility care. Dr Martin will take the time to explain the reasons behind her decisions and be sure that you are fully informed about the risks, benefits, and likely outcomes associated with such advice.
